Day 1: Pick-Up from Entebbe and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Masindi.

You will meet and be welcomed by our Kfir Adventures English Speaking guide on this day (8:00aam is recommended). Embark on the car and be briefed about your journey and activities for the day. Hit the road and start off your journey to Murchison Falls National Park via Luwero-Nakasongola and Masindi. At Kichumbanyobo gate, payments will be carried out for admission into the park.

Drive through a transition of tropical rainforest (Budongo), with an oversight of primates like black and white colobus monkeys, baboons, red tailed monkeys, blue monkeys and many more. Murchison Falls National Park is a paradise boasting over 76 mammals and 451 bird species. On arrival, you will head out for lunch at RedChili restaurant ahead of our 1400hrs boat cruise.

 

Boat Cruise

Embark on the car and descend to the Nile for an afternoon boat launch to the bottom of the falls. The Nile is very healthy and plays a significant role in inhabiting marine life. Permanent residents like Nile Crocodiles, Hippos, will be sighted whereas regular visitors like elephants, warthogs, waterbucks, Giraffes, Buffalos will be seen at the river bank drinking and thermal regulating. Keep focused for giant kingfishers, African fish eagle, pied kingfishers, Goliath Herons, saddle Bill stork, and many more. This activity lasts for three hours. Meet your guide at dock, embark on the car and drive to RedChili, check-in for refreshment, Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 2: Morning game drive, viewing top of falls, Rhino trekking at Ziwa and transfer to Entebbe Internal Airport.

Rise up early, check-out from your room and Embark on the car for a sun rise game drive in an adventure of both the big and small game. The game drive will last for about 2hours and expect to sight both big and small animals like Elephants, Giraffes, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, bushbucks, oribis and many more. Keep your fingers crossed for lions and leopards. Proceed with your drive as you head to the top of falls.

 

Top of falls Experience

Drive to the top of the world’s most powerful waterfalls for a magnificent view of the falls squeezing through a 6 meter narrow gorge before it loses its youthful energy to meet Lake Albert at the delta in the west. Be prepared for thunderous sounds and mist showers from falls. At your experience, embark on the car and hit the road to Nakasongola via Masindi to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary

On arrival, disembark from your car, meet the site guide and be briefed before the Rhino trekking activity. The rhino sanctuary is known for spotting white rhinos at a close range in the wild and this activity completes your big 5 experience. The activity will take 2-3 hours depending on the movement of the Rhino’s and one hour of observation and photography will be recommended. After your rhino tracking, take a lunch break, then proceed with your journey for a drop off at Entebbe International Airport.
