Day 1: Pick-Up from Masindi and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

You will meet and be welcomed by our Kfir Adventures English Speaking driver guide on this day depart. (9:30aam is recommended). Embark on the car and be briefed about your journey and activities for the day. Hit the road and drive northwest to the park gate for payments.
Take a drive through the south bank, characterized by rain forests, woodland and grassland with some encounters of chimpanzee, baboons, elephants, warthogs to mention but a few. Proceed to the world’s most powerful waterfall and look on the magnificent falls compressing through a 7meter narrow gorge, at a speed of 1.6m/s plunging onto the ancient rocks before the youthful energy is lost, the water then pours downriver at a depth of 45meters to calm and meet lake Albert in the west and form the Albert Nile. Drive to red chili for check in and lunch ahead of your 1400hrs boat cruise.

Boat Cruise

Embark on the car at 1:45pm and descend to the Nile for an afternoon boat launch to the bottom of the falls. The Nile plays a key role inhabiting aquatic life. It’s a permanent home to animals like Nile Crocodiles, Hippos, catfish, Tilapia, Nileperch, mudfish, electric catfish and so on. Also, elephants, warthogs, waterbucks, Giraffes, Buffalos consistently come to the riverbank for water. Keep focused for giant kingfishers, African fish eagle, pied kingfishers, Goliath Herons, saddle Bill stork, and many more. This activity lasts for about three hours. Meet your guide at dock, embark on the car and drive to the North into the savannah for a mini game drive that ends at 7:00pm in an adventure of big and small game like the lions, leopards, Roths child giraffes, African elephants, cape buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, Uganda Kobs, oribis, Jacksons hartebeests, side striped jackals and many more. expect to sight birds like the crested cranes, Abyssinian ground hornbills, piapiacs, helmeted guinea fowls and so on. Return to your lodge for refreshment, Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive/Rhino trekking

Rise up early and check from your lodge with your belongings, pick up your breakfast and drive back to the savannah at 6:30am for a sun rise game drive in an adventure of both Nocturnals who may still be active like lions, leopards, spotted hyenas and the diurnals like Elephants, Giraffes, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, bushbucks, oribis and many more. Retreat from the game trucks and exit the park before your permit expires and proceed to Rhino Sanctuary.

Rhino trekking
On arrival, disembark from your car, meet the site guide and be briefed before the Rhino trekking activity. The rhino sanctuary is known for spotting white rhinos at a close range in the wild and this activity completes your big 5 experience. The activity will take 2-3 hours depending on the movement of the Rhinos, one hour of observation and photography will be recommended. After your rhino tracking, take a lunch break, exit the sanctuary then proceed with your journey for a drop off at the agreed point.
