Day 1: Pick-up from Masindi and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

Receive a warm welcome from our Kfir Adventures English speaking driver guide in Masindi that morning, you will be given instructions to follow while in the park. Embark on the car, drive northwest where the park is situated. At Kichumbanyobo gate, transactions will be carried out for admission into the park. Thereafter board the car and take a drive through Budongo forest.
Murchison Falls National Park inhabits over 451 bird species and 76 mammal species, both big and small, medicinal and non-medicinal plants. Drive through a transition of the tropical rainforest, woodland and grassland with an oversight of primates like black and white colobus monkeys, baboons, red tailed monkeys, blue monkeys and chimpanzee. Reptiles like monitor lizards, puff adders, rock pythons, chameleons. Aves like the black and white casqued hornbills, Abyssinian ground hornbill, the great blue turaco, ross’s turaco, malachite kingfisher, and many more. Arachnids like the giant orb weavers, tarantulas to mention but a few. Pursue the drive to the world’s most powerful waterfalls for a stunning view of the falls squeezing through a 7-meter narrow gorge plunging on the ancient rocks before it loses its youthful energy to meet Lake Albert at the delta point in the west part of the Nile. Head for a lunch break ahead of your boat cruise.

After your lunch, descend to the base of the Nile for the 1400hrs boat cruise to the bottom of the falls (the most powerful falls in the whole world) until 1700hrs. The Nile is a habitat to numerous marine lives with Permanent residents like Nile Crocodiles and Hippos, water hyacinths, papyrus and water birds. And those animals who visit the riverbank regularly to quench up and thermal regulate like the elephants, waterbucks, warthogs, buffaloes and many more. Keep focused for giant kingfishers, African fish eagle, pied kingfishers, Goliath Herons, saddle bill stork, and many more. After your cruise, meet the guide and traverse to the savannah for a precise sunset drive-in search for four of the African big five which include the lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo. Roth’schild giraffe, side strip Jackal, oribi, Uganda Kob, Jacksons hartebeest. Check in at your pre-booked lodge for refreshment, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Exit.

Receive your packed breakfast at 6:30am and head out to the Savannah for an adventure of both the big and small game. Today you will embark on a 3-hour game drive in the savannah grassland in search of the predators like spotted hyenas, leopard, lion, side striped jackal and diurnals like Uganda Kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, patas monkeys, reedbuck, grey duikers, buffalos, oribis etc. Enjoy the scenic view of the palm doted savannah, scrubs and shrubs, flocks of vultures and marabou storks in flight that gives a clue on the location of the predators. After the game drive, you will hit the road for Masindi before your permit expires and get dropped off at the agreed point for your next destination.
