Bwindi impenetrable national park
South-western Uganda
This is a large primeval forest located in south-western Uganda and is located in three districts of Kisoro, Kabale and Kanungu. It is Uganda’s typical rain forest and the country’s prime tourist attraction to mountain gorillas. These spectacular apes endangered about 800 individuals but splitted between the forest of bwindi. On your way to the trekking sector, you will encounter some primate species like L’Hoest monkeys, blue monkeys and many more. Birds like cenamon chested bee eater, grey throated barbet, Shelley’s crimsonwing(endemic) a list continues. Interact with the Batwa (the pigmy) and learn their way of life; dancing, cooking and hunting demonstration. Bwindi is a national park declared UNESCO in 1994.

Kidepo valley national park
Karamoja, North-eastern Uganda
Kidepo Valley National Park is a 1,442 square kilometres national park in the Karamoja region in northeast Uganda near Kenya and South Sudan. Kidepo is rugged savannah, dominated by the 2,750 metres Mount Morungole and transected by the Kidepo and Narus rivers. The park give you a variety of wildlife species like buffalo, elephant, Rothschild’s giraffe, cheetah, bat – eared foxes, caracal, elands etc are common.
