Day 1: A transfer from Kampala to Kapchorwa.
After your breakfast, you will start off your journey from Kampala or Entebbe towards Kapchorwa Eastern Uganda through Jinja and Mbale cities. Expect to see the beautiful Mabira forest. Today you will undertake a boat cruise to the Source of river Nile, the longest river in the world. This cruise is relaxing and a chance to view many different bird species. Enjoy a hot lunch at all friends’ restaurant of Java house. After your lunch, you will embark on your journey and head to Mbale where you will check in at Mbale resort upon arrival. You will spend the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Mbale to Sipi.
After breakfast proceed with your journey to Sipi falls where you will explore the 3 beautiful Sipi falls. Sipi falls is waterfall found on the foothill of mountain Elgon and at the edge of Mt Elgon. It has a series of three tall waterfalls all plunging along the lower slopes of Mt Elgon in Eastern Uganda. You will be walked by a knowledgeable site guide. Take a break and have lunch at your lodge, you will then go for a coffee tour, where you will learn how coffee grows up to the last stage of roasting and pounding it.  Sipi area also offers the best scenery for the lower karamojong plains plus a magnificent view of the sun set. Check in at Sipi falls lodge or home of friends. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Exit Sipi and transfer to Kidepo valley national park.
After your breakfast you will undertake an adventurous drive through the Karamojong region and head to Kidepo National Park. If you ever thought of being on a real African safari, then Kidepo is the perfect place to be. This national park is Uganda’s most unexplored reserve teeming with abundance of wildlife. You will enjoy the true moments of an African savannah.  Upon arrival in the evening, check in and relax at the Apoka lodge, savannah lodge or Adera lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Kidepo Morning Game Drive and Karamojong Community, Cultural Encounter.
Have your morning breakfast and proceed for game viewing in the Narus valley, look out for the big four which are present and they include the lions, leopards, elephants and the buffalos. The grassy Narus valley is most reliable for the lions and the leopards, huge herds of buffalos and elephants are found in these savannah areas as well. The Park is set against a backdrop of beautiful Mountains ranges offering the best scenery of a true African gem. Zebras, different antelope species and the cheetahs might be spotted in your morning game drive. You will head back to your lodge for lunch. Later, proceed with a karamojong community cultural encounter. You will spend a wonderful afternoon with the karamojong people as you learn about their cultures and beliefs. At the end of the day you will return to your lodge to relax and enjoy your evening. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala.
Morning breakfast and transfer to Entebbe through Gulu. The drive through kitgum and Gulu is long but with amazing scenery of the northern parts of Uganda. We shall have a lunch stop in Gulu town and thereafter proceed to Entebbe where you will be dropped off at your pre booked hotel.
