Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park.
Our safari guide will meet you this morning and briefs you on the safari before setting off. You will head west of Uganda where Kibale Park lies. Reach Fort Portal in the afternoon for lunch and thereafter head to Kibale visitor information center for a briefing about your chimpanzee activity. You will then proceed to trek the chimps in the forest with the help of an experienced ranger guide. Upon sighting the chimps, a full hour will be given to take photos and observe these great Apes. Bond and enjoy the presence of the chimps plus the freshness of this forest.  You will then check in at chimpanzee lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking at Virunga.
Enjoy breakfast at your lodge, and then undertake a crater drive to view some of the crater lakes that were formed due to volcanic eruptions. You will then hit the road with a packed lunch box back to Kampala or at the airport.
