Day 1: Transfer from Mpigi to Masindi.

On this day, you will transfer from Mpigi and arrive in Masindi at your convenience. Check in at Albert Grand Place for your overnight stay ahead of your trip to Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 2: Pick up from Masindi and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

You will meet Kfir Adventures English speaking driver guide that morning, be briefed on the rules and regulations in the park. Embark on the car and drive northwest where the park is situated. At Kichumbanyobo gate, payments will be carried out for admission into the park.

Drive through a transition of tropical rainforest (Budongo), with an oversight of primates like black and white colobus monkeys, baboons, red tailed monkeys, blue monkeys and many more. Murchison Falls National Park is a paradise boasting of over 451 bird species.  Disembark from your car and descend to the Nile for a mid-morning boat launch to the bottom of falls. The Nile is very healthy and plays a significant role in inhabiting marine life. Permanent residents like Nile Crocodiles, Hippos, will be sighted whereas regular visitors like elephants, warthogs, waterbucks, Giraffes, Buffalos will be seen at the river bank drinking and thermal regulating. Keep focused for giant kingfishers, African fish eagle, pied kingfishers, Goliath Herons, saddle Bill stork, and many more. This activity lasts for three hours.

Meet your guide at dock and drive off for a lunch break. After your lunch, embark on your car and drive to the base of the falls where you will meet the UWA ranger guide, under take a briefing session and begin 1 hour hike to the Top of the falls along the Sir Samuel Baker/Winston Churchill trail. Expect mist spray, roaring waterfalls through the 6m “Devils Cauldron” and vibrant birdlife. At the top enjoy breath taking views of Murchison falls and the smaller Uhuru falls.

Retreat and proceed for a sunset drive in the savannah for an adventure of both the big and small game. This game drive will take about 3 hours and expect to sight animals like the elephants, giraffes, bushbucks, water bucks, kobs, oribis, dikdik, Jackson heart beast and buffaloes. Keep your fingers crossed for lions and leopards. Return to Red chill for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Masindi.

After your early morning breakfast, head out for a morning game drive in the same direction for an adventure of both the big and small game. Search for the BIG 4 like Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffalos, with the aid of your driver guide. After your game drive, you will hit the road for Masindi with a drop off at your agreed destination.
