Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

On this day, you will meet our Kfir Adventures English Speaking guide at 8:00am, embark on the car and be briefed on your day’s activities, including the park rules and regulations. Hit the road North west of Uganda for Masindi via Luwero triangle where the NRA Uganda bush war took place between 1981-1986. Have your lunch break at Kabalega Resort Masindi and later proceed with your drive northwest of Masindi to Kichumbanyobo gate where payments will be carried out for admission into the park by your safari guide. Murchison Falls National Park is a home to over 451 bird species and 76 mammal species that makes it popular and the most visited national park because of the rich biodiversity. Drive through a transition of tropical rainforest (Budongo), woodland and grassland with sightings of primates like black and white colobus monkeys, olive baboons, vervet monkeys, red tailed monkeys, blue monkeys and many more. Birds like the Narina dragon, African hoopoe, bateleur, long crested eagles, black kites and so on can also be sighted with the help of your guide. Proceed to the top of falls for 1 hour hike to the bottom of the water falls for the view of Uhuru and Murchison falls as they drop in the devil’s cauldron OR just view from the top.

Evening game drive

From the top of falls, proceed for a precise sun set drive in an adventure of both the big and small game. Look out for animals like elephants, buffalos, water bucks, bush bucks, giraffes, leopards, lions and many more. This activity will last for about 2 hours.    Retreat back to from the drive and proceed to Pakuba lodge, Murchison River lodge, redchilli or similar lodge to check-in, refresh yourself have dinner and slumber.

Day 2:  Morning game drive and Afternoon boat cruise

Rise up early for morning breakfast, catch up with your guide at 6:00am. Drive to the open plains of Savannah with the aid of your safari guide and catch up with the predators like lions, leopards, spotted hyenas before they go into their safe dens. Elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, bushbucks, giraffes, oribis, warthogs, Uganda kobs, Jackson’s hartebeest and many more will be encountered. Enjoy the scenic view of the palm dotted savannah, cliffs and blue hills of the democratic Republic of Congo. This activity will last for about 4 hours. Drive to your lodge for lunch break up to 1:00pm.

Embark on the car and drive to the base of the Nile. You will cruise east wards to the bottom of the falls and you will be able to see the falls dropping downriver. The Nile plays a significant role in inhabiting marine life. During this trip, permanent residents like Nile Crocodiles, Hippos, will be sighted whereas regular visitors like elephants, warthogs, waterbucks, Giraffes, Buffalos will be seen at the river bank drinking and thermal regulating. Look out for water birds like the giant kingfishers, African fish eagle, pied kingfishers, Goliath Herons, saddle Bill stork, darter bird, cormorants, Egyptian goose, cattle egrets and so on. This activity lasts for about 3 hours. Meet your guide at Dock, embark on the car, drive to the savannah for a precise sunset drive before you proceed to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale forest national park

Check out of your room with all your luggage, have an early breakfast and catch up with your guide at 7:00am. Embark on the car at and head to Kibale forest national park, this journey will take you about 7 hours with a luncheon and enjoying an iconic view of farm lands, beautiful landscapes, long honed cattle and many more. Check in at Chimpanzee capital lodge or Kibale forest lodge, refresh yourself, have dinner and overnight.

Day 4:  Chimpanzee trekking, Kiwa hot spring and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have your early morning breakfast, you meet your safari guide at 7:00am and be transferred to the briefing center for the rules and regulations during the trek. This remarkable activity takes 2-3 hours depending on the location and the movement of the chimpanzees, during the trekking, you will be in position to sight other primate species like Red Colobus monkeys, Black and white colobus monkeys, L’hoest all foraging in their natural habitat, 1 hour of observation and photography/ videography will be recommended. After trekking return back to the lodge for lunch and Transfer to Kasese and visit Kiwa hot springs, a renown natural geothermal site which has therapeutic and relaxing properties. In the back drop, you will have Rwenzori Mountain ranges that fans you with purified air. Pursue your drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park and check in at Irungu Forest Lodge or Kasenyi safari camp for refreshment, dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Morning game drive and transfer to Kigali

Check out from your room with all your language, have your morning breakfast, grab your packed lunch and meet your guide at 6:30am and traverse to the Eastern/southern part of the park in the open plains depending on the sightings and commence your Morning game drive in search for the big four which are present and they include the lion, leopard, elephant and the buffalo. This Park is set against a backdrop of the Rwenzori Mountains and indeed this gives stunning sceneries which are worth seeing. You will also have a chance to view some crater lakes during this game drive. This activity will last for about 3 hours. Exit the park and pursue the drive to Kigali via Kabale and Katuna boarder with lunch enroute. Arrive in Rwanda, a country known as land of thousand hills carefully crafted and tended by the local farmers that signifies resilience and determination of the Rwandan people after a tragic past in 1994. Check in at hotel 2000, M hotel, Pepon hotel, Five to Five hotel or similar hotel. After that, catch up with your guide and visit Nyamirambo women’s center, discover the unique working spaces followed by 2-3 hours walking tour. You will look behind the scenes of the township. Interact with the locals and enjoy the amazing wall art. Embark on the car and be driven back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Kigali and transfer to Bunyonyi.

Rise up early for your morning breakfast, check out of the lodge with all your belongings and catch up with your guide at 7:30am and drive back to Nyamirambo women’s center for basket weaving. Here you will explore the art of basket weaving in Rwanda and learn the complex techniques of sisal weaving by ladies and learn the cultural importance of the Agaseke basket traditional processes, patterns and the colors used. This activity will last for 2-3hours. Transfer to Kimironko market and explore the food diversity in Rwanda, learn how traditional food is grown, processed and prepared before it reaches the table. Later transfer to genocide memorial museum where the remains of hundreds of thousands Rwandese were put to rest. Have lunch at the museum to enjoy the cuisines ahead of your transfer to Uganda and check in at Bunyonyi overland or Bunyonyi safari resort for refreshment, dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Canoeing and transfer to Entebbe

Rise up early, prepare and pack all your luggage in the hotel room. Have your morning breakfast and check out from your lodge with all your belongings, pack them in the car, have your breakfast and meet the captain at 7:00am and cruise on the deepest lake to the punishment island where the Bakiga girls who became pregnant before marriage would be left in isolation to die of starvation. It’s an ideal escape for nature lovers with breathtaking. Meet your safari guide, embark on the car and start your 10 hours journey to Entebbe with luncheon.  Check in at Protea Entebbe, best western, Airport guest house or dream jet cottages for refreshment dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport

Checkout from your lodge with all your luggage, have your morning breakfast and meet your guide at 8:00am for airport transfer to catch up with your flight. End of safari.
